  • BASIC RULES
  • When calculating the Competition Score the following factors are considered:
    1. Result Score: The actual results achieved in the competition
    2. Participation Score: The level of the participating athletes
    3. WR Bonus: World Records achieved in the competition
    Competition Score = Competition Result Score + Competition Participation Score + WR Bonus

    1. Competition Result Score


    1.1. Calculating the Competition Result Score

    1. The 24 best Events (see 1.2.) plus the 24 best remaining results (see 1.3.), i.e. a total of 144 results, are calculated to get the Result Score of the competition.

    1.2. Calculating the 24 best Events:

    1. The 5 best results in all the Events are added up to get the Event's Result Score.
    2. From all the Events which meet the above requirement, the 24 best Events are included for the calculation
    3. In the 24 best Events only Finals are considered. Heats, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Qualifications or individual events during the combined events are not included in this calculation.

    1.3. Remaining 24 results

    1. From all the results which are not included in the 5 best results of the 24 best Events, the remaining 24 best results are included.
    2. Results from Heats, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Qualifications and individual events during the combined events are also considered when calculating the remaining 24 results.

    1.4. Result Scores

    1. Results Scores are awarded for the result achieved by the athlete according to the latest edition of the relevant (i.e. indoor/outdoor) IAAF Scoring Tables of Athletics (by Dr. Bojidar Spiriev). For disciplines which are not included in the latest editions of IAAF Scoring Tables of Athletics, special Scoring Tables have been developed in full conformity with the IAAF versions.
    2. In Track & Field events Results Scores are calculated with the Wind and Hand Timing Modification System, as used in the All-Athletics.com World Rankings as well.
    3. In Road Running events Results Scores are calculated with the Downhill and Point-to-Point course Modification System, as used in the All-Athletics.com World Rankings as well.

As conclusion, all the management of the sports event will use specific database system to makes the program running smoothly and avoid mistaken and failure to the competition results. It is to make sure all the party satisfies with the results and to avoid cheating among the athlete.As far as my understandings, all the results score will update from year to year to crate a new world records based on the athlete achievements. All this output system will be produced by the database system who gathered all the input data.Tq~

STIXY????


Ever heard about stixy? Never right? Sixty is other tools that we can use to keep all the document, photos and event notes to share with our friends and classmate.



I want to briefly share with all of you my experience using stixy. I have been exposing to stixy when i taking DATABASE MARKETING subject whereby our lecturer was helping her master’s student in doing research about the usage of stixy.


For me stixy is very interesting because we can do a lot of thing is the website such as upload our assignment so if we have to do presentation in class and we just forgot to bring the thumb drives we just open stixy and get our presentation slide there. Sixty also allow us to upload photo to share with other friend and in my case, my friends and I have uploaded all the pictures during we do the assignment. Sixty have the notes features where I share all the latest information to my friends notes come with a lots of colourS choice.


I WANT TO SHARE WITH ALL OF YOU, MY FRIENDS AND I EXPERINCE DURING USING THE STIXY


Use STIXY as our method to share information to the lecturer and other group members create an amazing satisfaction. Besides, Dr Noorminshah can directly inform our group that she satisfy with our group and reprove if we make a mistake in the group activity.


Firstly, we very enjoy during using STIXY. STIXY is a new tool for our learning and we really enjoy it when using STIXY especially when we doing activities that are given such as upload photos, attach a file, giving some notes to all our group members. Here some of advantages for me when using a STIXY.



Although STIXY is new software for us to upload all the information needed, but we take it as our learning process for our study. We can interact with all group members for each work that we should do and we can Share work to all members easily. Our lecturer can observe what our groups have done for activity that had given. From using STIXY, we can share each other opinion and make decision and can finalize the best answer.


We also very enjoy learning using STIXY because STIXY have colourful note and can upload many photo and document in the board at STIXY. STIXY can attract me in study Database Marketing.Besides, we also have a specific file in this group mini project. Wealso can update this mini project from day to day and can inform Dr. Noorminshah and our group members direct through STIXY. By using this application,we feel relaxed to complete our individual assignment. There is a lot of benefit we can get, other than can save our time it also save our money and time duration to discuss about task.



Definitely, it is one application that very suitable with student. Easy to manage and we can upload the assignment and photo immediately without any problem. We really feel that STIXY is fun medium to share our information.


Here we want give some suggestion which is the space of STIXY should be bigger or make a full view so that we can view all our activities on one page and without have to scroll down to see all the files. We hope STIXY will be better than now and once again STIXY is a very colorful and cheerful learning tools and we think each of the student have one STIXY account for their learning process.


STIXY note should have more colors and have more function. Other than that, we realize that sometime we cannot send an invitation to our group members. We hope you can look further to our suggestion.Now we already finished our group mini project and hopefully in future we can use STIXY again in our learning process.


We learn a lot from this project and make us bound tightly. We really have a good time and thank you again to our lecturer Dr. Noorminshah Binti Iahad. Learning process is too fun and exciting, we have wonderful experience.We also enjoy taking relevant photographs about the organization from our 1st until last face-to-face meeting. This mini project definitely gives us valuable information that related to our course subject.

Accounting and Finance

Responsible for managing the business money, Accounting department tracks every financial transaction that occurs within the company, including billing customers. Finance department manages the business's money as efficiently as possible. Some of the programmed name are Microsoft Dynamics GP, Oracle Financial and Netsuite.

Human Resources (HR)

Distribution

Responsible to delivery product to customers. (Oracle Transportation Management)

Responsible for designing, purchasing, implementing, testing, securing, and maintaining information systems for the rest of organization. (VMware vCloud)

Its a question that I'm sure keeps some software executives awake at night!!! They have all but taken over the web analytics space causing market leaders to  move away from the segment all together. With the recent launch of Google Public Data Explorer they are now dipping their toe into the world of data analysis and visualization. Coupled with the recent surge of freely available online databases like OECD Factbook, Un-Employment in the US from the Bureau of Labor and a dozen or so others. Google is truly delivering easy to use and somewhat powerful analytics tools to the masses.

The interface is easy and simple to use includes lots of sliders and click boxes. They have even integrated Google maps into the application to supply simple Geo based features. Its clear that Google could step into the Enterprise Software space pretty easily and with the SaaS and Cloud foundation they already have in place they are well positioned to be a disruptor in the business intelligence arena.
