Should you worry about Cell Phone, Cellular Antenna, and Wi-Fi Device Radiation ?
Billions of people use cell phones throughout the whole world, from the population 80% accessed to cell phone services from antenna. Wi-Fi signals for example, making business, public areas and also for home purpose has broadened is function efficiently. These numbers of users are expected to increase sharply in the next coming years, and many users are concern about potential health effect from cell phones, cellular antenna and Wi-Fi devices. Some users making a judgment by suffer rare illness have filled lawsuit against cell phones companies. Therefore, the cases usually are lost due to lack of scientific evidence towards the issue of the phone to illness.
Debates are take place in communities to discuss over placement of cellular antennas when everything breach the Act of 1996 when local government prohibit from considering health effects when making decision about cellular antenna placement.
Whatever it is, every party agree that no studies conclusively demonstrate negative health effects from cell phones, cellular antenna, and Wi-Fi devices because the technology is too new and take some time to experiment the effect.

MIDI

A musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) sound card is a piece of computer hardware that allows a user to connect musical instruments and similar devices through a MIDI connector to a computer. This is typically done to use a computer to record music, especially for use in a MIDI format, and the sound card may also often act as a standard sound card as well, allowing connection of microphones, speakers, and similar devices. A MIDI sound card can potentially be built onto a computer’s motherboard, but is often a separate device installed onto the motherboard inside of the computer case.
MIDI is a standard used in a number of different industries as a way to get audio information onto a computer hard drive. This audio data can then be recorded, edited, and used in a number of different applications, depending on what is needed by a computer user. A MIDI sound card is an audio device that uses this type of interface and is installed onto a computer’s motherboard, which allows a musical instrument, often a keyboard, to be connected to the computer. The instrument can then be used as an input device to create music or audio information that can then be saved onto the computer.
A MIDI sound card has often been used in creating digital music. It will not typically actually record audio information, as the device used for input does not really play music into the computer. Any audio information is not sent as waves of sound but as digital information indicating pitch, volume, tempo, and other pieces of information that can be translated to audio sound through the use of an audio editing program or similar software. This means the resulting audio from using a MIDI device typically sounds somewhat synthesized and may sound innately digital or computerized in nature.
Much like other types of sound cards, a MIDI sound card will typically allow a user to connect speakers and a microphone to the computer as well. Sometimes multiple sound cards are used to allow the MIDI card to be solely for input of audio, and a separate card to work as output to speakers or headphones. The input device used with a MIDI sound card is typically a keyboard, which will have a MIDI connector that runs from a plug on the keyboard to the sound card. These may be standard keyboards that can also produce music or specialized MIDI keyboards that do not make music and only serve as a digital audio input device.

Imaginary Interface Could Replace Screens and Keyboard
Can you imagine our imagination can replace screens and keyboard? Sounds like ridiculous right? But when I'm trying to search a new technology for today, the title "Imaginary Interface" attract me to get closer with this topic. Here, I'll give you some summary about the "Imaginary Interface".
The 'Imaginary' Interface device combines a camera and computer to see and then interpret gestures. Researchers are experimenting with a new interface system for mobile device that could replace the screen and even the keyboard and gestures supported by our visual memory.
To operate Imaginary Interfaces, people use two basic commands. Making an 'L' shape with one's non-dominant hand (typically the left) 'opens up' a two-dimensional plane where the finger tracing interaction will take place; the L acts as the lower left corner of the plane in this example.
With 'Imaginary' Interfaces, however, there is nothing to see, short term visual memory instead serves as the reference, like mimes, people can mentally record and 'touch' these make-believe elements.
Now, the innovation technology becoming faster and sometimes people cannot catch the technology products because of the fastest changing. But with the imagination, all people seems like they are in updated.

Users can 'pinch' with the dominant hand to select a point in space on this plane that can serve a function. As an easy frame of reference, a grid can be visualized based on the lengths of the finger and thumb in the L gesture as a 'Y' and 'X' coordinate, respectively. Pinching at approximately 3, 2 – or three finger-lengths up and two thumb-lengths over – could press a virtual button.

Future Input Devices
Hai everybody!
FIRSTLY,do you want to know more about the future input devices? Lets Check it out!
Do you imagine that our SKIN can be input devices in the future? it is certainly no longer plausible right?
Chris Harrison and a team of researchers are showing off a method of ”Using your Arm, Hand and Skin as an input device“.Its sounds weird right? but, it can be reality in our life someday..who's knows?

For your information, they have been able to workout a technique that detects where the tap touches and use that to control phones and music players and computers. As a result, An arm band worn by the user picks up acoustic signatures created by tapping on your arm with the other hand, or taping your fingers and thumb together on the same hand. They’re achieving accuracies in the 82-97% range but it gets even better.

But this could all change in the Future. The innovator Pranav Mistry comes with yet another
proof concept of computer input that could change the way we communicate with our PCs. The Mouseless invention removes the requirement of having a physical mouse altogether but still provides the intuitive interaction of a physical mouse that we are familiar with.
As Pranav Mistry said,Mouseless consists of an Infrared (IR) laser beam (with line cap) and an Infrared camera. Both IR laser and IR camera are embedded in the computer. The laser beam module is modified with a line cap and placed such that it creates a plane of IR laser just above the surface the computer sits on.
The user cups their hand, as if a physical mouse was present underneath, and the laser beam lights up the hand which is in contact with the surface. The IR camera detects those bright IR blobs using computer vision.
The change in the position and arrangements of these blobs are interpreted as mouse cursor movement and mouse clicks. As the user moves their hand the cursor on screen moves accordingly. When the user taps their index finger, the size of the blob changes and the camera recognizes the intended mouse click.

What is ouput ?
What is Output ?
Output is data that has been processed into a useful form. That is, computers process data (Input) into information (Output). Users view or watch output on a screen, print it, or hear it through speakers, headphones, or ear buds. While working with a computer, a user encounters four basic types of output: text, graphics, audio, and video. Very often, a single form of output, such as Web page, includes more than one of these types of output.
An output device is any hardware component that conveys information to one or more people. Commonly used output devices include display devices, printers, speakers, headphones, and earbuds, data projectors, and interactive whiteboards.

Four types of output are text, graphics, audio, and video
Display Devices
A display device is an output device that visually conveys text, graphics, and video information. Desktop computers typically use a monitor as their display device. A monitor is a display device that is packaged as a separate peripheral. Some monitors have a tilt-and-swivel base that allows users to adjust the angle of the screen to minimize neck strain and reduce glare from overhead lighting. With some, you can rotate the screen. Adjustable monitor stands allow you to adjust the height of the monitor. Some have integrated speakers and or a built-in Web cam. Monitor controls permit users to adjust the brightness, contrast, positioning, height, and width of images. Most mobile computers and devices integrate the display and other components into the same physical case.
LCD Monitors and LCD Screens
An LCD monitor is a desktop monitor that uses a liquid crystal display to produce images. These monitors produce sharp, flicker-free images. LCD monitors have a small footprint, that is, they do not take up much desk space. Most are wide screen, which are wider than they are tall. You measure a monitor the same way you measure a television, that is diagnolly from one corner to another.

Other Output Devices
In addition to monitors and printers, other output devices are available for specific uses and applications. These include speakers, headphones, and earbuds, data projectors, and interactive whiteborads.
Speakers, Headphones, and Earbuds
An audio output device is a component of a computer that produces music, speech or other sounds, such as beeps. Three commonly used audio output devices are speakers, headphones and earbuds.
Most personal computer and mobile devices have a small internal speakers that usually emits only low quality sound. Thus many users attach surround sound speakers or speaker systems to their computers to generate higher-quality sounds.

Data Projectors
A data projectors is a device that takes the next and images displaying on a computer screen and projects them on a larger screen so that an audience can see the image clearly. Some data projectors are large devices that attach to a ceiling or wall in an auditorium. Others, designed for the mobile users, are small portable devices that can be transported easily.

What are Optical Scanners?
An optical scanner is any scanning technology that converts a physical image, text, or object into a digitized form that can be stored as a 2D image file on a computer. 3D scanners also exist, but they are not widespread and are sometimes based on different technologies. Price? Optical scanners have been around for decades and their price has dropped accordingly. You can buy low-level used optical scanners on eBay for as little as 20 US dollars (USD) and a new scanner on newegg.com for around 50 USD. Better optical scanners sell for hundreds of dollars. How about the basic technology? The basic technology underlying optical scanners is that of the charge-coupled device (CCD). A CCD consists of a capacitor array that is sensitive to light. 1D Wireless Blue-tooth & Zig-bee long-range laser scanners

EPSON V300 Photo Scanner Hardware input device that allows a user to take an image or text and convert it into a digital file, allowing the computer to read or display the scanned object. A scanner is commonly connected to a computer USB, Firewire, Parallel or SCSI port. Card Reader Memory Card Readers: Just like a CD-R or floppy disc, you need a device to read what is on the flash memory; this is where a card reader comes in. You can connect the card reader to your notebook or PC through a USB port. Notebooks can also use a PCMCIA reader. Image Capturing Devices Digital Camera A digital camera (or digicam) is a camera that takes video or still photographs, or both, digitally by recording images via an electronic image sensor. Most 21st century cameras are digital. Digital cameras can do things film cameras cannot: displaying images on a screen immediately after they are recorded, storing thousands of images on a single small memory device, and deleting images to free storage space. Do you know?? The majority, including most compact cameras, can record moving video with sound as well as still photographs. Some can crop and stitch pictures and perform other elementary image editing. Some have a GPS receiver built in, and can produce Geo tagged photographs. Audio-Input Devices and Monitor
AUDIO-INPUT DEVICES
Convert sounds into a form that can be processed by the system unit. By far the most widely used audio-input devices are the microphone. Audio input can take many forms, including the human voice and music.
VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM

Use a microphone, a sound card, and special software. These systems allow users to operate computers and to create documents using voice commands. Portable voice recognition systems are widely used by doctors, lawyers, and others to record dictation. These devices are able to record several hours before connecting to a computer system to edit, store, and print the dictated information. Some systems are even able to translate dictation from one language to another, such as from English to Japanese.
WHAT IS OUTPUT
Is a processed data or information. Output typically takes the form of text, graphic, photos, audio, and/ or video. For example, when you create a presentation using a presentation graphics program, you typically input text and graphics. You also could include photographs and even add voice narration. The output would be the completed presentation.
Output devices are any hardware used to provide or to create output. They translate information that has been processed by the system unit into a form that humans can understand. There are wide ranges of output devices. The most widely used are monitors, printers, and audio-output devices
MONITOR

Known as display screens, monitors present visual image of text and graphics. The output is often referred to as soft copy. Monitors vary in size, shape, and cost.
Features
Clarity refers to the quality and sharpness of the displayed images. It is function of several monitor features, including resolution, dot pitch, refresh rate, size, and aspect.
Resolution
One of the most important features. Image are formed on a monitor by a series of dots or pixels (picture elements). Resolution is expressed as a matrix of these dots or pixels.
For examples; many monitors today have a resolution of 1,600 pixels columns by 1,200 pixel rows for a total of 1,920,000 pixels. The higher a monitor’s resolution (the more pixels), the clearer the image produced.
Dot (pixels) pitch
The distance between each pixel. Most newer monitors have a dot pitch of 3.1 mm (31/100th of a millimetre) or less. The lower the dot pitch (the shorter the distance between pixels), the clearer the image produced.
Refresh rate
Indicates how often a displayed image is updated or refresh. Most monitors operate at a rate of 75 hertz, which means that the monitor is refreshed 75 times each second. Image displayed on monitors with refresh rates lower than 75 hertz appear to flicker and can cause eye strain. The faster the refresh rate ( the more frequently image are redrawn), the better the quality of image displayed.
Size or active displayed area
Measured by the diagonal length of a monitor’s viewing area. Common sizes are 15, 17, 19, 21, and 24 inches.
Aspect ratio
Determined by the width of a monitor divided by its height. Common aspect ratio for monitors are 4: 3 (standard, similar to traditional television pictures) and 16: 10 (wide screen).
FLAT-PANEL MONITORS
Are the most widely used type of monitor today. Compared to the other types, they are thinner, more portable, and require less power to operate.
Almost all today’s flat-panel monitors are LCD (Liquid crystal display).
There are two basic types:
1. Passive-matrix or Dual-scan monitors: create images by scanning the entire screen. This type require very little power, but the clarity of the image is not as sharp
2. Active-matrix or thin film transistor (TFT) monitor: do not scan the down the screen; instead, each pixel is independently active. They can display more color with better clarity. Active-matrix monitors are more expensive and require more power.
CATHODE-RAY TUBES
096cG0kiPF0/TXMWwmVdhYI/AAAAAAAAAFU/tO99NfhNdgk/s1600/crt%2Bmonitor.jpg">
Until recently, the most common type of monitor for the office and the home was the cathode-ray tube (CRT). These monitor are typically placed directly on the system unit or on the desktop. CRTs are similar in size and technology to televisions. Compared to other types of monitors, their primary advantages are low cost and excellent resolution. Their primary disadvantages are that they are bulky, are less energy efficient, and occupy a considerable amount of space on the desktop.
There are several different categories of CRT monitors, which are apart by the mask used:
1. FST-Invar (Flat Square Tube), whose phosphors are round. these monitors use a grid called ashadow mask. they give the right colours overall, but have the disadvantage of distorting and darkening the image at the corners.

2. Mitsubishi's Diamondtron tubes and Sony's Trinitron, whose masks are made up of vertical slots (called an aperture grille or tension mask), which lets through more electrons and therefore gives a brighter image.

OTHER MONITOR

E-BOOK READERS are handheld, book-sized devices that display text and graphics. Using content downloaded from the web or from special cartridges, these devices are used to read newspaper, magazines, and entire books.
eBook readers take it one step further. One device holds about a library and gives you as many of your favorite book titles at your fingertips as you could ever really want. Plus, they make it easy to take notes, save clippings of quotations and highlight passages we want to be able to find again. eBook readers are about readability. They are designed to make your reading experience more enjoyable and less of a hassle. Nobody wants to take a stack of books with them on a business trip or long roadtrip. They’re convenient, portable and good for the environment. In fact, the only real downside we can see to an electronic book over a real paper book is that you’ll have a few more problems if you accidentally spill your coffee on it or get splashed at the pool.
DATA PROJECTORS are specialized devices similar to slide projectors. These devices, however, connect to microcomputers and project computer output just as it would appear on a monitor. Data projectors are commonly used for presentation almost anywhere from the classroom to the boardroom.

HIGH-DEFINITION TELELVISION (HDTV) delivers a much clearer and more detailed wide-screen picture than regular television. Because the output is digital, users can readily freeze video sequences to create high-quality still image. The video and still image can then be digitized, edited, and stored on disk for later use. This technology is very useful to graphics artists, designers, and publishers.
